There is nothing I really enjoy doing more than creating art. I began drawing super heroes as soon as I was able to pick up a pencil, around three years old. Honestly I’ve never stopped.

There is nothing I really enjoy doing more than creating art. I began drawing super heroes as soon as I was able to pick up a pencil, around three years old. Honestly I’ve never stopped.

My main goal on a daily basis is to remain inspired and in the process of creation for as long and often as possible.

I’ve been making art for my entire life and my intention is to continue doing so.

I have a background which involves classical art training and I use that to craft heroines, beasts and villains.

I am skilled in conceptual drafting and can compose or plan projects rather quickly using a pencil. However for the brunt of my work I use Photoshop. I love the painterly feel I can gain from this medium and it has been my preferred method for the last ten years.

I have anatomical knowledge that I love to apply to my work. I very much enjoy popular themes like dinosaurs, zombies and pin up art, but always attempt to craft them with a fine art sensibility using bold colors and dynamic compositions.

I received my bachelors in comic illustrations from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2006. Since then I have regularly done freelance illustration work including book and album covers, illustrations and diagrams for company’s presentations, comic art for advertising, murals, and comic book guides.

I’ve also taught art in public and private schools intermittently since 2007.

What I do brings me great joy and it is my sincerest hope that my audience can experience some of the joy and satisfaction I receive during the creation of my art.
